Mountain View to Los Angeles

As one of the thousands of people who used the TravelTracker to watch Mikal and myself drive around 400 miles from Mountain View to Los Angeles, you will of course be watching the above timelapse video in awe! More details about how we did all this to come!

Oh, and the GPS unit can also spit out altitude and velocity, so we plan to make some cool graphs with those variables. Hopefully we’ll be able to capture that raw data for our drive to Tempe tomorrow, then do some processing on it in the next few days.

Whee!

    On the road again
Just can’t wait to get on the road again
The life I love is makin’ music with my friends
And I can’t wait to get on the road again
    On the road again
Goin’ places that I’ve never been
Seein’ things that I may never see again,
And I can’t wait to get on the road again.

Impressive. So can you list some of the tools you used? (After all, why do your own research when you can get someone else to do it for you?)

    Hey Quynh,

Thanks for your comment! Yea, the US has been heaps of fun. I’ve met some really smart and special people, seen plenty of sights (way more to see though)!

The current plan is to be back for Christmas, but that might change. I’ll let you know when that plan becomes more certain. :)

Hope all’s well in the Land Down Under!

    Regards,
    James
